FLC:Chest Workflow

FLC: Chest Workflow Radiography This workflow will be used when using the Wi-D wireless detector in the bucky wallstand. 1. Open the patient from the Pre-Registered patient tab, verify patient information and ensure the Chest PA OGP View is selected. 2. Turn the tube 90 degrees to the wall Bucky. 3. Detent the tube for both transverse and longitudinal detents to the wall Bucky (make sure you see ACSS and the white circles around the green and orange detent symbols). 4. Make your PA Chest exposure. 5. System will drop down and select the Lateral Chest OGP View (if the system is not set up to do this automatically, select the OGP manually). 6. Open the wall Bucky, flip the detector from Landscape to Portrait, with the wall Bucky still open, use the manual buttons on the Bucky to line the Bucky to the tube. Close the wall Bucky and the collimation will open. Note: The user will probably need to move the Bucky back down manually, to avoid clipping the bottom of the lungs.
