FLC: Performing an Exam XPRF The following Job Aid focuses on performing an exam on the Fluorospot Compact (FLC). Step 1 Updating the worklist and selecting the patient exam is done from the “Patient” tab. a.) From the “Patient” subtask card, select the “Update RIS” (1) icon to update the worklist. The patient may also be manually created using the “Create New Study” (2) icon. Patient Settings Service (2) RIS RIS (1) Note: The “Patient-based Worklist Query” icon (RIS icon with the keyboard) is an update function used to search the worklist for a specific patient using their demographic data. b.) Select the desired patient from the “Preregistered Patient” list by double clicking on the pa- tient’s name, or highlighting the patient and choose the “Examination” tab. Select the desired view from the OGP box. All views start with either a T (Table), W(Wall) or X(Tabletop) indicator. Note: If a view is not available in the correct location, you can utilize the “Acquisition Mode” (1) icon to change the location (T, W or X) of the desired view. From the “Process” subtask card, images can be rotated and flipped using the “Flip Vertical” (1) “Flip Horizontal” (2) and ”Image Rotation” (3) icons. Process. From the “Graphics” subtask card, images are annotated and labeled with a digital marker. The “Set Label” (1) and “Enter Text or Comment” (2) icons are indicated below. Note: When using the “Enter Text or Comment” option, always use the “Text” entry box. Process. Graphics DSA (1) 5 XYZ (2) c.) From the “Rad” subtask card, images can be cropped (1) and amplification(2) can be ad- justed. *Amplification can be used to lighten or darken the image before sending to PACS. Note: To apply changes select the checkmark icon (3). Process.
