This Step by Step will guide users on how to change the current techniques as
well as how to set new techniques within the PEX Editor

FLC PEX Editor: Changing or Setting Techniques XPRF To configure permanent techniques in the “PEX Editor”, follow the below steps: 1. From the “Patient” tab, click on the “Settings” subtask card, and then select the “PEX Editor” icon and log in via “Siemens”. Patient Settings Service EXI 2. The ability to change the technique for that “OGP View” is under the “X-Ray Parameters” section. Consider the technique to set and choose from the following: o MField (Measuring Field): when using AEC, select the appropriate measuring fields (cells) for the body part being imaged. o Selecting 1 pt will create an AEC technique. Only the KV field will be available to make changes. Select KV and check the MField. o Selecting 2 pt will create a manual technique. The KV and mAs fields will be available to choose from.
