FLC: Recording a CD Radiography 1. Insert a blank CD-R into the CD drive (upper drive) on the front of the Fluorospot Compact. Please note that CD-R is the only CD media format that should be used. 2. Select the patient study to be written to the CD from the Examined Patient list by clicking the patient’s name with a single left mouse button click. 3. Click on the “Record CD Study” icon on the Fluorospot Compact monitor. If patient to be written on CD is not highlighted on the Examined Patient list, single left click to re-highlight. 4. A selection box will be displayed. Select the image format to be written (DICOM XRF/CR is recommended and will be the default once selected). 5. To remove the patient’s name, select “Anonymized.” Select the image size. Single images will be written in 1024x1024 matrix. Stored loops of fluoro can be written in 1024x1024 or 512x512 matrix. To make this selection, pick “Downscaled” from the drop down menu. 6. Under transfer, select “All” or “Marked” images to be written to the CD. The memory section will indicate how much space on the CD will be used by the written study. 7. Click “OK” to begin the CD burning process. Once started, this icon will appear in the lower right corner of the Fluorospot Compact monitor. 8. Once completed, the transfer icon will disappear. The CD can be removed from the drive.
