Congratulations.  You have completed the IMMULITE® 2000 XPi Immunoassay System Menu Options Online Training course.  Listed below are the key points that have been presented.  Take time to review the material before you proceed to the final quiz.     Navigating Menu Options Select the Menu button on the horizontal tool bar to access the Tools and Configuration screen.  It is necessary to select Update within several of the Tool options to ensure that the most current information is displayed. Identify how to use software tools to monitor the system Formfeed causes the system to print all the data in the print buffer. Export Data can be used to archive data for a specific time period or when troubleshooting a problem. Sample Tubes in Racks screen displays all the racks and any sample tubes currently on the instrument. The colors of the sample tube positions indicate the status of the samples. Temperatures option allows you to view the current instrument temperatures and humidity level. Day Error Log shows the error messages for the current day. Beads and Reagents On Board allows you to view the status of the beads and reagents currently loaded on the instrument. Allergens On Board displays the status of the allergen vials currently loaded on the instrument. Adjustment Log option is used to view the Adjustment Log and print reports. Scheduled QC tool enables you to configure a worklist to run your QC at schedule times.   Identify how to configure Panels The Panels option is used to group tests that are routinely ordered together.  Up to 100 tests may be assigned to a panel. Identify how to configure AutoStart AutoStart Configuration allows you to schedule automated maintenance procedures by date and time, and enable or disable automatic substrate dispensing. Specifications for low level protocols to transfer data between clinical laboratory instruments and computer systems and Standard specifications for transferring data between clinical instruments and computer systems The Sysmex CA-600 Series Analyzer is able to use ASTM specifications to transmit data from the analyzer to a host computer. An expansion of the ASTM communication now allows for the transmission of traceability information including: Reagent Lots, Standard curve measurement dates, calibrator lots, and control lots of the last QC measurements. This new traceability function can be activated by changing the format output setting to ASTM2. The analyzer will maintain conventional ASTM function if the format output setting is set to ASTM.
