Inline Composing - Eline

This Job Aid reviews the workflow steps to manually compose images with multiple table moves on MR Systems with Eline software.

Inline Composing Eline Job Aid Inline Composing – Eline This Job Aid will review workflow to facilitate planning and evaluating multi-slice measure- ments, group the individual measurements or combine examinations with multiple table moves using Inline Composing. Prerequisites for Inline Composing  Distortion Correction – On, automatically set to 2D Distortion Correction (e.g., Inline > Composing Parameter Card)  Positioning Mode – ISO or FIX Mode must be selected (e.g., System > Miscellaneous Pa- rameter Card) Routine Contrast Resolution Geometry System Physio inline Sequence Common MIP Composing Distortion Corr. v Mode 2D Unfiltered images Inline Composing v Normalize None Composing Function Spine Composing Group Last Step Series Description Composing Group* 100 Routine Contrast Resolution Geometry System Physio Inline Sequence Coils Miscellaneous Adjustments Adjust Volume TX/RX Coil Combine Mode Adaptive ... Inline > Composing Parameter Card a. Inline Composing – combines all images from multiple table moves (steps) for an orien- tation or weighting into a complete image (e.g., C, T, and L spine combined) b. Normalize – Off (Default) – reduces image intensity variation for whole body diffusion measurements (e.g., used for composed whole body diffusion) c. Composing Function – establishes method used to composed images i. Spine – based on Bone Structure, for Composing Spine Images ii. Angio – based on Vessel Structure, for an Overview of Vessels iii. Adaptive – based on elastic matching, to correct b0 induced inhomogeneities in image areas beyond magnetic homogeneity volume. e.g. Abdomen, Long Bones iv. Diffusion – correct phase encoding direction shifts caused by different adjust- ment parameters of steps of a set-n-go protocol (e.g., Axial Whole-Body Diffu- sion) d. Composing Group – Identifies what composing group protocol belongs i. Composes all steps into an overall image (e.g., Whole Spine) e.
