Inspecting and Cleaning the Probe Wash Stations on the Atellica® CH Analyzer Video Version 1.25 and Below

The Atellica Chemistry Analyzer has five wash stations that are used to clean the Ch probes. These wash stations must be inspected and cleaned on a monthly basis. The dilution and our to wash stations are accessible from the front of the analyzer. The sample and R1 wash stations are accessible from the back of the analyzer. The 5th is the IMT watch station which is shown here. To inspect and clean the wash stations, the system needs to be set to diagnostic state. This can be done by selecting system in the command bar. Next, select operator diagnostics. Select the Ch module. Next, select enter diagnostics. Finally, select yes. Wait for the system to enter diagnostics state and then in subsystems select inspect and clean. Select inspecting and cleaning the probe wash stations. Select perform. Select yes, wait for the analyzer to prepare for maintenance. The covers unlock automatically. Open the front and back covers of the Ch analyzer. Cover the Q vents with a paper towel to protect from debris. Locate one of the probes and inspect its wash station. If appropriate, wipe off any debris on the wash station with an alcohol pad or lint free tissue dampened with alcohol. Repeat these steps for the remaining probe wash stations. Remove and discard the paper towel from the cube. That's for laboratory protocol. Close the Ch covers. Select continue. Select exit diagnostics. Finally, select yes. To complete the procedure, select the maintenance tab in the command bar. Select schedule. Next, select the chemistry module. In the dropdown menu. Select cleaning and inspecting the probe wash stations. Select the mark as completed button on the right hand side of the screen. This completes the overview of inspecting and cleaning the Ch probe wash stations.
