ACUSON Juniper™ ultrasound system Control Panel-Major Modes Video

This video explains the major modes on the ACUSON Juniper™ ultrasound system control panel.

Acuson Juniper ultrasound system control panel, major modes. Welcome in this video we will show you how to activate, deactivate and customize the major modes of the acuson Juniper ultrasound System control panel. The Doppler color 2D and M mode controls serve multiple functions dependent on the transducer. An chosen preset in this video you will learn how to activate an exit major modes. Show color Doppler region of interest ROI adjustment. Explain customization of major mode functions. To the left of depth gain compensation, ordidge slide pots. You will find the M mode key pressing the center of the M key activates M mode cursor mode. This allows you to align the M mode cursor before activating M mode. To move the M line, simply use the trackball. There are two methods to activate the M mode tracing and reference image. You can either press the center of the M key. Or press the update button located at the top of the trackball. To increase or decrease the overall M mode gain, rotate the button. The functions available for the M mode tracing are located at the bottom of the touchscreen an adjusted using the soft keys located on the control panel. Notice the functions available for the buttons surrounding the trackball. You can adjust parameters on both the M mode tracing and the two D reference image. The end mode button behavior can be programmed to activate when pressing the update button. Check the bypass cursor mode box on the display page of the system configuration menu. To exit, simply press the center of the M or the 2D button. Moving to the left, you find the mode button labeled 2D, which is a dual function button. Rotating the button increases or decreases the overall brightness or overall gain of the grayscale image. Pushing the button returns you to 2D imaging from other modes such as Doppler. Available 2D functions display on the touch screen above the softkey. Press to select the function. An rotate to change the setting. Pressing the center of the C button activates the color Doppler velocity mode. To increase or decrease the overall color gain, rotate the button. To move the region of interest or ROI, simply move the trackball. To change the size, click the button on either side of the trackball. Changing the function from position to size. Take note the center icon on the imaging Monitor indicates a change in the button function when pressed. The functions available during color are located at the bottom of the touchscreen and adjusted using the soft keys located on the control panel. The color ROI is an overlay on the 2D image of the Doppler information. This allows you to adjust parameters for each portion of the image. You can change the active mode by tapping the tab on the touch screen. Activating color Doppler energy capabilities is done by pressing the CD button located on the touch panel. To exit color, simply press the center of the C or 2D button. Pulse, wave, Doppler or PW Doppler measures blood velocity at a specific location within the blood vessel. The flow velocities are represented graphically on the Y axis. And time is represented on the X axis. You may select how the system enters the spectral Doppler mode, similar to the M mode, to immediately display the spectral tracing, choose the bypass cursor mode from the display page of the system configuration menu. On this page you may also select your preference for frequency or velocity, as well as activation of Doppler auto optimization. For this example, we have these features unselected. To enter PW Doppler modes, Press the center of the PW button. To activate the D line an gate. This allows you to align the D line and sample gate before activating the PW tracing to move the D line and sample gate, simply use the trackball. There are two methods to activate the pulse wave tracing and two D reference image. You can either press the center of the PW button. Or press the update button located above the trackball. To increase or decrease the pulse wave tracing overall gain on the frozen or live image, rotate the button. The functions available for PW are located at the bottom of the touchscreen and adjusted using the soft keys located on the control panel. You can adjust parameters on both the pulse wave tracing and the two D reference image. Here you see the active PW parameters with a real time spectral tracing or waveform. To change whether you are adjusting the spectral tracing or the real time 2D reference image, press the update button or select the Touch screen tab. To exit, simply press the center of PW or the 2D button. In this video you have learned pressing the control panel buttons, activate and deactivate the corresponding major mode. Controls surrounding the trackball. Adjust the color ROI the functions assigned the keys appear on the bottom of the imaging monitor. To customize major mode behavior, such as the bypass cursor mode or Doppler auto optimization, simply make your selection on the system configuration pages.
