CAUTION Wrong wireless foot switch used Undesired radiation exposure • Take care that the wireless foot switch and the system have the same colored label. • Use wireless foot switch only when there is visual and acoustic contact with patient. Interference with a life supporting device resulting in possible malfunction • Make sure to keep a safety separation distance of larger than 90 cm between the wireless footswitch and the life-supporting device. • In case of interference with other equipment increase the distance between the interfering devices. CAUTION Weak batteries in the foot switch Interruption of examination • Check the LED indication on the foot switch before starting the examination. 1. Position the wireless foot switch on the floor and swivel the clamp into the upright position. The wireless footswitch will switch on automatically. 2. You can reposition the wireless foot switch with a foot using the clamp. The wireless foot switch automatically switches to standby mode if not used for a certain period. It is activated again by actuating any button or pedal. Selecting the operating mode The MODE button of the wireless foot switch allows you to select one of the operating modes. • If necessary, press the MODE button several times. Remove batteries. 3. Insert new batteries (LR14) into the wireless foot switch as shown in the diagram (see arrow for insertion direction). 4. To close the battery compartment, insert the knob into the depressions. Press lightly and turn, until it clicks into place.
