MAMMOMAT Tomosynthesis - Performing a Tomo Study

Step one from the scheduler, select and register your patient. Step 2. Choose a tomoe procedure in one of the following ways. Option one. If there is an RIS procedure, the correct procedure will automatically populate in the procedure dropdown on the open patient sub task card. Option 2. Select 2D plus Tomo from the options menu. Option 3. From the procedure dropdown on the open Patient sub task card, select a predefined tomoe procedure. Step 3. Activate the first icon in the Icon Gallery. Step 4. Position patient and compress. Step 5. Perform exposure, this will be a long exposure. Compression will release after the exposure is completed. Step 6 The first view will appear with the bounding box displayed. The reconstruction will begin immediately. It will take 41 seconds to complete. Step 7 The next exposure will automatically be activated. Step 8 Perform any additional exposures as needed. Note, if a 2D plus Tomo has been selected when the exposure is completed, the first view will be a normal 2D image that can be used for diagnostic purposes.
