MAX Systems: Using MAXalign Step by Step

MAX System: Using MAXalign Radiography MAXalign is a tool that can be utilized while performing “Free Exposures.” This tool assists the user with proper angulation of the X-Ray tube by displaying the current wireless detector angle on the MAXtouch screen. Note: The angle degree of the detector while in “Portrait” position is represented by the icon on the left. When in “Landscape” position the icon on the right will display the angle degree. When the detector is not flat in either plane a “side to side” or “top to bottom” degree of angle may be displayed. 1. Open the desired patient in the Examination tab on the FLC. 2. Select an “X” Organ Program (for free exposure). 3. On the MAXtouch screen located on the front of the X-Ray tube, select the “Device Position” tab. After a few seconds the angle of the wireless detector will appear on the MAXtouch screen. Note: The system can read angles of detector tilt from zero to eighty-nine degrees only.
