Mira Max Basic Workflow

This SBS will walk the user through the typical patient exam workflow.

Basic Workflow Mira Max 1. Assuming portable is already on; enter CODE if requested on Keypad by pressing 1111. If portable is in OFF state, please see Step-By-Step titled “Turning on the Mira Max”. RIS 2. From “Pre-Registered” tab, locate desired patient. You may need to refresh worklist by pressing the following icon: 3. Once patient is located, you can select your exam by either double-clicking on the Patient Name or selecting “Examination” tab to the right. Enter User Initials if re- quested and proceed into exam. 4. Select desired view from list towards top-right of screen. Adjust technical factors based on patient size, either on computer touchscreen or on dashboard. Place detector where needed, position tube where desired, collimate where possible and make acquisition. 6. Once exposure is made, move on to “Post-Processing” tab to the right for any annotations, markers, rotation, cropping, etc. 7. Images can be reviewed individually by showing previous or next image using the following icon in the Tools section to the lower right corner of your monitor. Show Previous: Tools Note: Alternatively, you can also review all images at once by selecting the Documenta- tion Tab. This is where you will send or delete images. 8. When ready to send to PACS, select the “Documentation” tab. Select the “Send” Sub- task card and click “DICOM Send” * .
