Additionally, cover system workflow and utilizing the system to perform patient exams. Day 2 System review from Day One. Image quality review with physicians/staff. 4 Mobilest Mira Max IV Course Objectives This training guide will enable the end user to affectively operate the Mira MAX at its optimal level. Proper use of system functions and features will empower operators with precise workflow, ease of use, and user satisfaction. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to: • Correctly perform start-up and shutdown procedures. • Identify the key hardware features of the Mira MAX system. • Utilize the Fluorospot Compact imaging system. • Utilize the PEX Editor for setting up site specific Examinations. • Utilize postprocessing functions to optimize image impression. • Successfully send images to Archiving station. 5 Turnover Workbook | Mira Max 1. Day One: System Introduction and Start Up 1.1 Objectives Notes • By the end of this section, the technologist will be able to: • Correctly perform start-up and shutdown procedures • Identify the key hardware features of the Mira Max system • Follow the basic system workflow • Understand the basics of the PEX Editor 1.2 System Start-Up/Shut Down Turning the system on is a three part process. • Press the “Power On” button via the numeric keypad located on the control display panel.. • When the word “CODE” is visualized in the kV and mAs display, use the numeric key pad to input the customized four digit PIN. • The word “MOVE” will now be visualized on the display (portable generator is active). At this point the system can physically move but the system software is not on. • Press the power on button to activate the system software. The system is ready when the application program is displayed on the monitor. To turn the system off select the “Power Off” button. This will shut down the generator and imaging system. 1.3 Emergency Stop Stops radiation and motorized movement immediately When the emergency stop is activated the screen saver will display on the monitor and the screen will lock To unlock, turn the pressed button clockwise until is snaps back into the normal position. Once the battery is in place correctly, the bottom green LED starts blinking. 1.4.5 LED Status on the battery charger • There are four LEDs for each charging slot. When there is not a battery charging, all LEDs are off. Charging levels 0-25% 25-50% 50-75% 75-100% 100% 1.4.6 Changing the Battery • Open the locking system of the battery • Remove the discharged battery • Orient the charged battery in the correct position: battery connector facing the detector connector • Slide the battery in the recess area of the detector • Close the locking system of the battery and push down the latch. The detector should start automatically. • Note: Before using the detector, wait for all LED’s to be green. ED ED 9 Turnover Workbook | Mira Max 1.4.7 Attaching a detector Notes • Hold the detector with the LEDs facing the infrared sensor, which is located on the upper left corner of the storage compartment. • All of the LEDs on the detector will start to blink orange, then green. • When the LEDs stop blinking, the detector can be taken away • The following message will display on the FLC, select Yes. This is where organ programs can be modified or created. • When creating or modifying Organ Programs, be mindful to pick the correct prefix. • C = Cassette Exposure (CR or Film) • X = Free Exposure* (Wireless Detector) • Double left click on the Organ Program to be modified. • The Organ Program subtask card will open. • In the Program Name field, remove the (d) and enter the new or modified name. • Adjust any Exposure Parameters/Settings, and select Store for modifying or Store as New if a new Organ Program is created.
