This video demonstrates how to transport the Cios Alpha and Cios Spin, and which precautions you have to take.
Welcome to the transporting the system video for this CS Alpha and see a spin. In this video you will learn how to transport the C arm and the monitor trolley and which precautions you have to take. Please note we will demonstrate all steps on a fully equipped CS in system. All shown steps can be performed on a CS Alpha as well. Disconnect the footswitch from the see arm if applicable and place the footswitch into the Holder on the back of the C arm. Roll up the cable onto the Holder if applicable. Before you can transport the CS in system, move it to the transport position. Set the C arm to zero degree orbital and zero degree angular position. For easy see arm movement. Press the save position button one in case the preset position has not been overwritten. You can also move the see arm to the transport position manually by hand or by pressing the yellow and blue move buttons on the control module. Release the brake to allow see arm swivel movements. Swivel the C arm in the horizontal plane to zero degrees an lock the brake again. Release the break for horizontal movements and slide the Horozontal support arm all the way back for secure transportation. Lock the break again. Move the lifting column of the C arm to its lowest position by pressing the down button on the control unit. The lifting column automatically stops at the intermediate position. Press the down button again to move the C arm to the lowest position. If your system is fitted with an optional height adjustable monitor column, you can lower the column to its lowest position by pressing the down arrow on the toggle switch. When all components of the see Arm and the Monitor Trolley are in the transport position, you can shut down the system. Close the current patient and press the off button on the monitor trolley. As soon as the computer is shut down, you can unplug the monitor trolley power plug from the socket, disinfect the cable, and roll it up on the side handle. To remove the connection cable, turn the central plug switch to the left until it is in the vertical position and disconnect the plug from the socket. Disinfect the connection cable and roll it up on the side handle of the monitor trolley. Ensure that the plug does not touch the floor and that the connection cable is secure on the side handle. Turn the monitors into transport position to prevent colliding with obstructions. If your system is fitted with foldable monitors, fold them for secure transport. Release the central break on the front of the Monitor trolley with your foot. You can now transport the monitor trolley using the side handles. When you have position the monitor trolley, push the center brake down with your foot until it engages. To transport the See ARM, press the release button on the steering lever and pull the lever up.
