BMR MR Cardiac Flow Numaris X The MR Flow Quantification step is used to determine flow and velocity parameters. 1. From the Patient Browser, load the appropriate data set into the MR Cardiac Analysis Workflow A. Rght-click on the patient examination and select Assign Workflow > MR Cardiac Analysis B. Double Left Click on Patient to open 2. The Cardiac Reading Step enables you to view functional, dynamic, tissue characterization and flow data using the common tools 3. Select > one-click vessel segmentation icon and click in the vessel or use one of the drawing tools to draw an ROI C. Use the vessel segmentation tools to refine the segmentation, if required D. In the Evaluation Options, step, you can optimize your evaluation results A. VENC Anti-Aliasing: If the measure maximum flow velocity is lower than the actual flow velocity, there will be signal void areas in the vessel due to aliasing MR Flow Quantification Vessel Segmentation Evaluation Options Venc Anti Alias. The aliased pixel values are corrected and the results are update oAdjust the background phase > Move the threshold slider to adapt the sta- tionary tissue oIf necessary, select > Auto button to restore the default stationary tissue mask oSelect > Exclude Regions icon and draw a contour around the regions that should not be included into the stationary tissue mask oSelect > Delete Exclusion Regions icon if you want to delete and redraw the exclusion region o Select > Apply to correct the pixels for the phase contrast images 6. For MR Flow Quantification, the results of the current quantitative analysis are available in Findings details A. By default, the average heart rate is dis- played. An adaptation of the heart rate influences the average flow per minute. C. If you have performed the background phase adjustment, the check box in the Evaluation Option area is selected D Select > Invert Polarity icon to invert the velocity and flow values.
