MULTIX Impact: Flavor Setting Video

This video demonstrates how to set flavors on the MULTIX Impact image station software.

This video will demonstrate how to adjust the image flavor setting. Change the default flavor and define a customized flavor on the multix impact image station software. After each acquisition, the displayed image will have default flavor parameters applied. A customized image flavor can be created for each organ program. Once an image has been acquired or loaded for post processing in the post processing mode, click flavor setting. A confirmation dialog is displayed. Click yes. The image processed with default flavor parameters is displayed. To change the flavor of the image, select the icon associated with the desired image flavor. Then the image impression is changed to the chosen flavor. The system provides four sets of predefined image impressions or flavors for each organ program. They include standard. Smooth. High contrast. And finally detailed. Once the desired flavor is selected, the window values can be adjusted. You may adjust the windowing of the image by dragging the WC shift or window center shift and the WW shift or window width slider. Clicking the respective arrows or using the mouse wheel. To change the default image flavor within the selected organ program, select the desired image flavor icon. Click save as default. In future exams, that flavor will be the default flavor displayed. In order to define the customized flavor setting, select the customized icon first. Then click the rad button. Adjust the parameters until the image reaches your requirements. Drag the sliders or click the arrows to adjust the following parameters. Contrast detail, latitude, noise, WC, Shift and www.shift. Click save params to save the flavor setting changes. The parameter values are then saved into the customized flavor setting of the OG database. Verify that the flavor setting changed to use the customized flavor as a default flavor for the organ programs. Select the customized flavor icon in the flavors setting sub tab and then click save as default. The image impression can be adjusted by using the RAD tool. Once an image has been acquired or loaded for post processing, click rad. A confirmation dialog is displayed. Click yes to confirm. Adjust the parameters until the image reaches your requirements by dragging the slider or clicking the arrow. Click save. The adjusted impression is applied to the current image. All parameter value changes for the standard smooth, high contrast, and finally detailed flavors cannot be saved into the database. The adjustment effects will only apply to the current image to reset the parameter value to the initial status, click reset params.
