MULTIX Impact: Image Measurement Tools Video

This video illustrates how to use the image measurement tools in the image postprocessing tab. 

This video will discuss using measurement tools, geometric calibration, fiducial calibration, and drawing arrows. Let's begin by discussing measurement tools to measure an angle, press the measuring angles icon. Click the point to be the vertex of the angle in the image. Click the end point of the first line in the image, and then click the end point of the second line in the image. To measure the distance between two points, draw distance line by clicking the ruler icon, click the first point of the distance line in the image, followed by clicking the second point of the distance line in the image. To delete a single measurement that has been drawn in the image, click a measurement line in the image and then click this icon. To delete all the measurements, select this icon. To draw arrows on an image that has been loaded for viewing in view mode, click the... icon and select arrow. Click the start point of the arrow in the image, then click the end point of the arrow in the image. You can calibrate an image via geometry calibration or by drawing a known distance in the image. In the View tab, select the... button. And then select measurement calibration. For this example, select geometry. Check or enter the SSID in centimeters. Check or enter the teody in centimeters. Click calibration the ruler on the right side will change from red to green. Once the calibration is complete. After the image has been calibrated, select the ruler and measured the desired anatomy. If you want to save the image with the measurements, select save image. Fiducial calibration or calibrating by a known distance involves drawing a distance line to measure the dimensions of a calibration object. For example, a ruler. Note. The calibration object should be in the same plane as the organ to be measured. Begin by clicking the first point of the calibration line in the image, then click the second point of the calibration line. In the image, enter the exact distance in millimeters to the fiducial calibration. Then click calibration.
