Omnia MAX System Movements

This SBS will help guide User in the steps for moving the system.

Omnia MAX: System Movements and Examination Prep XP Multiple table movements may be performed individually from the exam room hand control to achieve the desired table height and positioning for patient transfer onto the cysto bed. These movements may all be stored into one of several functioning memory buttons on both hand controls for faster, safer patient transfers. Utilizing the hand controls for table movements Moving the table top to Patient Transfer position This key will perform multiple movements to a specific stored table position for patient Transfer, a position that may be configured and stored to the staff’s needs. • Using the “hand control” in the exam room, depress and hold the Transfer button until the stored position is reached. The following will occur: o The patient table will move to 0 degrees (if there was any tilt). o The X-ray tube will move into the stored position. o The patient table will move to the stored position this includes, height (raising or lowering), as well as longitudinal/transverse movements. The patient may be transferred once the position is reached. Transferring the Patient onto the cysto bed Positioning the X-ray tube In most cases it is easier to transfer and position a patient when the X-ray tube is in the Park (retracted) position. Determine the desired position for the X-ray tube in the site specific setting. • Depress and hold the “Tube In/Out (Park)” button on the exam room “hand control” to extend or retract the X-ray tube. QP X-Ray Tube In / Out button on hand control Moving the table top to the pre-programmed case Working Position This key will perform multiple movements in order to obtain a comfortable working position for the physician. This is configured and pre-prgrammed to the staff’s needs. • Select this button to move to the “Working Position” via the hand control. Note: Below is the typical position for Cystoscopic examinations. • Cystoscopic Procedures – patient is supine on the bed and position the buttocks to within an inch of the physician’s end of the systo bed. o Keep in mind NO part of the patient’s body may extend over the table top edge unprotected or unshielded. If needed, re-position, secure, and or protect any part of anatomy, especially hands if they extend over the Urologist’s working end of the bed. Patient positioned for cystoscopic procedure • PCNL or ERCP – patient is in the prone position on the table. If the viewing image needs to be flipped or mirrored to correctly view the anatomy consult an X-ray technologist prior to the examination. Patient positioned for a PCNL or ERCP procedure (Note: Image will need to be "flipped" left- to-right for correct diagnostic viewing.) Endoscopy • To view Ultrasound Images o Ultrasound system is brought into the room and integrated to the Uroskop system for specific procedures, ie. Brachytherapy, prostate biopsies, etc. o This is done via the system’s video manager and video cable. Integrated HD endoscopy imaging Integrated mobile ultrasound imaging • To Activate the side-by side imaging on the table’s dual monitors, depress the Endo Cam (Reference) button on any hand control until the active imaging appears. REF 0.00 Endo Cam (Reference) button on hand control • The physician can also activate integrated endoscopy or ultrasound imaging for viewing on Monitor B by depressing the top-central blue golf-ball button labeled Camera Monitor on the foot switch until camera imaging appears.
