Once the patient exam is open, select the appropriate exam from the available “Views”. Note: Stitching exams will be grouped with a red box. 3. The “Stitching Parameters” window will automatically open. This is where the “Image Overlap”, “Patient to Detector Distance”, and “Source to Tube Distance” must be defined. Note: Ensuring measurements are accurate is crucial to the Stitching process. Lara Barnet 219 X 4. Select “Confirm” to move to the next phase. Note: Do Not apply any collimation to the vertical, top and bottom axis of the system. Collimation must remain fully open on the vertical axis throughout the Image series. Horizontal or side to side collimation is encouraged. Always ensure the desired anatomy is not clipped/cut-off. X. Physically, move the detector and tube, allowing for the “Overlap” of the collimation field which was set in the “Stitching Parameters” window previously (step 3). 9. Ensure the correct exposure parameters are set on the “System Generator” and make the second exposure. 10. The second image will appear, either “Reject” and repeat the exposure, or select “Accept” and move to the next position.  Repeat the above process for the desired number of images needed to cover the patient’s anatomy.  Adjust shuttering and Reprocess image if necessary.  If this is the last image of the series, select the drop-down next to the “Accept” button, and select “Stitch”, then press on the “Stitch” button.
