ACUSON P500™ Ultrasound System Patient Information Screen Video

This video provides instruction on entering patient data using the ACUSON P500 ultrasound system.

We will give you an overview of the patient information screen. Before images are required, it is recommended you create a patient or restart a patient study. Select the patient button located on the control panel to display the Patient information screen. You can enter, edit and manage the patient information from this screen. Section 1 is the patient demographic section information related to the patient is entered or displayed in these fields. Section 2 is the exam section. You may select the transducer you will be using an the exam preset. Section 3 is the area to enter the patient medical information. This section changes with the selected preset and may contain information such as last menstrual period or LMP number of pregnancies or a text entry box for additional information. Section 4 is the order information area that allows input of information such as the performing physician. So in Agra for and the referring physician. If print is pressed without entering patient information, the system will automatically create a patient identification number and display an* in the patient name area. To edit the patient information, press patient and select the edit patient data button. You can then enter the patient data and select OK. When acquiring images after editing the patient data images with the new information are added to the exam. Acquiring images for a close study with new patient information will start a new exam. Editing the patient data does not change the header on previously acquired images.
