ACUSON P500™ Ultrasound System Report Video

This video contains information of the ACUSON P500 ultrasound system report.

This section contains information on report functions on the acuson P. 500 system. You can review and edit results, add images to the report preview and Print the report and export the report in a PDF format. The report page that appears depends on the exam setting. For this example, we will be using a carotid exam. Once you have performed measurements for your exam, you can view the report by pressing the report button on the control panel. The first section is the results area where you can enter exam specific information, such as the indication for the exam and patient physiologic information. Measurements assigned to a label such as a stenosis in the left common carotid artery, are located in the 2D measurement section. You were able to display up to five measurements. Labeled spectral Doppler measurements appear in the D measurements box, while the ICA see see a ratio displays in the Deratio section. In the description section you can enter an explanation of findings in the case of our carotid exam, you can select plaque characteristics as well as the appearance of this diagnosis. You can even draw on the provided diagram. Simply select Draw, press select at the Start area and select at the end area. To delete one drawn area, select the delete radial button to activate the eraser, place the eraser in the area for deletion and click set. Pressing the delete all removes all drawn areas. The anatomy description area displays the anatomy description if included in the patient report. For this example, we see the anatomy description for the obstetric exam. Each line has pre programmed list of states. In the case of a normal exam, you can enter selections via the low default button. To enter your own defaults, simply choose the term and click set as default. Image is entered into the report appear in the Images section. Select a thumbnail to enter the image into or remove the image from the report. The summary section allows you to enter any comments via the keyboard. To insert pre loaded comments into the report, you can select load comments. To view the available comments, select the desired term and click select to insert the comment. These comments can be loaded in the anatomy assessments page located on the M&R page in the configuration menu you can take an image of the report's by pressing the program print store button. All the report sections can be accessed via the soft keys located on the left side of the monitor. You can also close the study on this menu. The soft keys located on the lower portion of the Monitor allow you to print preview. This soft key changes to a report soft key, which allows you to return to the editable report. To export the report in a PDF format, click on the export PDF softkey to print the report, click or tap the print report softkey.
