ACUSON P500™ Ultrasound System Smart Cart Overview Video

Instructional video provides an overview for the ACUSON P500 ultrasound system Smart Cart.

This training program is designed to provide you with an overview of the acuson P500 ultrasound system components, controls and basic operation. In this section we will give you an overview of the acuson P 500 system smart card. The smart cart has four locking brakes. Each brake has a locking lever Anna release lever. To lock the front wheels, press the larger locking level located next to the wheel downward with your foot. When the lock is engaged, the release lever moves upward. Each wheel has locks that lock and unlock independently to unlock the front wheels. Press the release lock down. The height of the smart cart can be adjusted by pressing the lever located underneath the cart handle and pulling the handle upward or pushing the handle downward. The maximum height of the smart cart ranges from 89 to 109 centimeters, or 35 to 42 inches. The cart is 59 centimeters or 23 inches wide, 79 centimeters or 31 inches deep, and weigh 64 kilograms or 141 pounds. The Acuson P 500 system smart cart multiple transducer module or M TM supports a versatile family of high performance curvi linear linear and phased array transducers. To clean the smart card, begin by powering off and removing the acuson P 500 system. Unplug the smart card, lightly. Moisten a clean gauze pad or lint free cloth with mild detergent or an approved disinfectant. Refer to the user manual for approved list of cleaners. To clean the transducer Holder, press the tab located on the inside of the Holder and pulled down to remove the Holder. Place the liner under running water. Clean with a mild detergent and dry with a lint free cloth. When dry, insert into the transducer Holder refer to transducer acuson, P 500 system disinfectant guide for approved cleaners. The USB dual pedal footswitch connects on the left side of the system. The Footswitch has two petals. Each pedal corresponds to a function that can be assigned in the custom keys tab in the configuration menu.
