RAPIDPoint® 500e Blood Gas System Installing a Measurement Cartridge with AQC

View this video before you begin to install a new measurement cartridge. Make sure you have a new measurement cartridge. An wash waste cartridge. Select system button. Select measurement cartridge button. Select replace button. Select yes to replace the measurement cartridge. Open the automatic QC cartridge connector by pushing in and then sliding the connector to the right. Open the door. Remove the wash waste cartridge. Lift up the latch until the measurement cartridge is ejected. Remove the measurement cartridge. Get a new measurement cartridge and new wash waste cartridge. Insert the new measurement cartridge into the system. Ensure the cartridge properly aligns within the system. Place your thumbs on the raised dots. Give a strong firm push in an upward to lock the cartridge in place. Lower the latch to secure the measurement cartridge. Insert the new Wash waste cartridge into the system. Push firmly on the dot until the wash waste cartridge locks in place. Close the door. Slide the automatic cartridge connector to the left. To close it, the wait screen appears while the system prepares the cartridges. The analysis screen appears when the system is ready. The installation is complete. Play the video again if you need help installing a new measurement cartridge.
