RAPIDPoint® 500e Blood Gas System Positioning a Capillary in the Sample Port

View the following video before you begin to run a capillary sample. Properly collect, mix and transport the capillary sample from the patient to the blood gas system. Select the capillary button. Remove the capillary end caps. And insert the capillary into the sample port. Select the start button. Wait for the sample to aspirate. The sample port will return to its original position after the sample has aspirated. Remove the capillary from the sample port. And press the continue button. Scan patient ID and select the continue button to initiate the sample analysis. Play the video again if you need help running a capillary sample.
