RAPIDPoint® 500e Blood Gas System Running A Sample Using the Ionized Calcium QuickTM Sampler

View the following video before you use the ionized calcium quick sampler. Select the venous sample type button, select the ionized calcium parameter only, or by selecting the custom panel created for ionized calcium. Only mix the sample in the lithium heparin tube thoroughly. Open the sample tube within 30 seconds after mixing firmly, push the ionized calcium quick sampler onto the open tube. Insert the ionized calcium quick sampler lure into the sample port. Select the start button, wait for the sample to aspirate. The sample port will return to its original position after the sample has been aspirated. Grasping the ionized calcium quick sampler, not the tube. Firmly remove the sampler and the tube from the sample port. Select the continue button to initiate the sample analysis. Play the video again if you need help running a sample using the ionized calcium quick sampler.
