Replacing Reaction Cuvettes on the Atellica® CH Analyzer Video Version 1.25 and Below

This video provides instructions on how to perform the as needed maintenance task of replacing reaction cuvettes on the Atellica® CH Analyzer.

This video will show you the steps on how to change React should Rinku vets on the Atellica Chemistry analyzer. The analyzer alerts for the operator to replace the reaction cuvette segments every four months. All of the reaction Cuvette segments should be replaced at the same time. To change the reaction cuvettes, the system must be set to diagnostic state. This can be done by selecting system in the command bar. Next, select operator diagnostics. Select the chemistry module icon. Select enter diagnostics. Select yes in subsystems select cuvet. Select replacing the reaction ring cube at segments. Select perform. Select yes, wait for the analyzer to prepare for maintenance. The covers automatically unlock. Open the front cover of the analyzer to the top position. Grasp the reaction ring and rotated clockwise or counterclockwise to access each cuvette segment to unlock a segment, turn the thumb screws 1/4 of a turn counterclockwise so that the segment can lift out. Lift up to remove the segment and discard Cuvette as per laboratory protocol to prevent bath contamination, place the new cubit segments on a lint free tissue. Place a new segment in the reaction ring. Align the pins to the holes in the segment. Lock the segment in by turning the thumb screws quarter of a clockwise turn until the screws lock into place. Repeat these steps to replace all the cuvet segments. Close the front cover. To exit diagnostics, select continue. Next select close. Select exit diagnostics. Finally, select yes. To complete the procedure, select the maintenance tab in the command bar. Select schedule. Select the chemistry module in the dropdown menu. Select replacing the Ch reaction ring cuvette segments in the software. Select the Mark is completed button on the right hand side of the screen. To complete the procedure performed Ch weekly maintenance.
