Replacing Sample Tips on the Atellica® IM Analyzer Video Version 1.25 and Below

This video will show you the steps for how to replace sample tips on the Atellica Immuno Assay Analyzer. The inventory icon on the command bar will display a yellow or red alert when system supplies are low. After selecting the inventory icon on the Command bar, select the Supplies overview tab. Then select the immunoassay module graphic. Locate the status of the tips. A yellow triangle indicates there are less than 120 tips on board and the tips are almost empty, or that the strap was not removed from a tip tray that is loaded on the system. A red triangle indicates the supply level is out. To prevent cross contamination where new, uncontaminated gloves when handling sample tips. To replace sample tips, first open the sample tip loading lid. Remove the protective cover from the sample Tip Tray bundle. Install the sample tip trays, ensuring that the rounded notches in the trays are facing the back of the system. Twist and then pull the tab down and out to release the strap from the trays. And then pull the strap out to remove it from the bundle. Be sure to leave the top on the upper tip Tray. To complete the procedure, close the sample tip loading lid.
