Replacing the Dryer Nozzle Probes on the Atellica® CH Analyzer Video Version 1.25 and Below

show you the steps on how to replace the Atellica Chemistry analyzer dryer nozzle probes in order to change the dryer nozzle probes, the system must be set to diagnostic state. This can be done by selecting system in the command bar. Next select operator diagnostics. Select the chemistry module icon. Select enter diagnostics. Select yes in subsystems, select probes. Select dilution. Wash probe dryer one or reaction wash probe dryer one select perform. Select yes, wait for the analyzer to prepare for maintenance. The covers automatically unlock if the back cover re locks before you were able to open it, select the button in the software to unlock the back cover. Open the chemistry analyzer back cover. There is one dryer nozzle probe for the reaction ring and another dryer nozzle probe for the dilution ring. The two dryer nozzle probes are interchangeable. Before starting to remove one of the dryer nozzle probes, cover the cue vets with a paper towel to protect them from debris. Unscrew the probe housing assembly thumbscrew counterclockwise. To access the dryer wash probe, lift the probe housing up and turn it over. Locate the appropriate dryer nozzle probe and disconnect the tubing. Pull the lever back to release the probe from the probe housing. Dispose of the probe spring an nozzle per laboratory protocol. Locate the new dryer nozzle probe and spring insert nozzle onto probe until it clicks. Insert the spring onto the probe. Insert the assembled probe into the probe housing until it clicks. Turn probes housing over an reinserted on the analyzer, tighten thumbscrew clockwise and connect the tubing 5 to 6 millimeters onto the probe. Remove the paper towel. Enclosed the back cover. Select continue. Select close, select exit diagnostics. Select yes select the maintenance tab in the command bar, select schedule, select the chemistry icon in the dropdown menu. Select the correct dryer nozzle probe. Select the mark as completed button on the right hand side of the screen to complete the procedure. Perform Ch auto check in operator diagnostics.
