Resolving Gripper Errors on the Atellica® Sample Handler Job Aid Version 1.25 and Below

This job aid describes how to resolve gripper errors on the Atellica® Sample Handler.

Atellica® Sample Handler SIEMENS Healthineers Resolving Gripper Errors Job Aid Issue: Gripper Errors Description: There is a tube stuck in the Gripper or the Gripper is unable to pick up a tube Online Help Reference: Removing Tubes from SH Robot Grippers Manually / Inspecting SH Robot O-Rings Troubleshooting Steps: 1. Stop the Sample Handler on the System Status screen 2. Unlock and open the SH front cover. (If robot is out of reach from the front of the SH, open the SH back cover to move the robot into position) 3. If there is a tube stuck in the gripper, remove the tube. For the procedure, refer to the Online Help reference 4. Visually inspect the 4 O-rings on the SH robot for any signs of wear or damage, and replace if needed. For the procedure, refer to the Online Help reference 5. Check for tube labels that may be interfering with the gripper 6. Close and lock the Sample Handler front and back covers 7. Navigate to the System Status screen for the module and select 8.
