This job aid describes how to resolve reagent probe volume check errors on the Atellica® IM Analyzer.

Atellica® IM Analyzer SIEMENS Healthineers Resolving Reagent Probe Volume Check Errors Job Aid Issue: Reagent Probe Volume Check Errors Description: Volume Check errors are produced when a Reagent Probe Sensor does not detect air or liquid, as expected, when trying to aspirate or dispense reagent. Online Help Reference: IM Event Troubleshooting > Volume Check Error Troubleshooting Steps: 1. Check if the reagent pack is low or empty: unload the specified reagent pack and then load a new pack 2. Follow the online help procedure for Performing IM Reagent Probe Dispense Testing for the related reagent probe in Operator Diagnostics, which will point out a bent or damaged probe 3. Check if the reagent probe is damaged or not installed correctly: Remove the IM reagent probe and examine it for damage.
