SC2000 Stress Without View Control

This is a short video going through a steps of a stress echo without view control.

To begin a stress echo on the SC 2000, begin with the patient demographic page. Select exercise stress under workflow, then select OK. As we begin to scan, get the desired view and optimize the image to begin the stress exam, select the 4th soft key to start the stress protocol. The ROI or region of interest Box has now appeared using the trackball. You can move the ROI to get the image in the entire ROI box. Select next from the home base and this will allow you to change the size of the ROI box. Select next to go back and position the ROI box. Please note the display on the bottom right of the screen. This allows you to keep track of what views stage and images acquired. Press clips store to acquire the resting parasternal long axis. Images All images are required prospectively. Double click the preferred image. The system will advance you to the next rest stage. Press clips store to acquire the short Axis images, double click the preferred image. Press clips store to acquire the resting apical four chamber view. Double click on the preferred image. Press clips store to acquire the apical two chamber images and double click the preferred image. Select review on the control panel to bring up selected resting images. So like compare with the first soft kitovu all rest images. By selecting sort on the left sided menu, you can view the resting images by stage or by view. Now you are ready to capture the postexercise images. Press clips store to begin the continuous acquisition. Start with the apical four chamber, then two chamber parasternal long axis and finish with the short axis. Again, note the display on the bottom right. It is showing the number of images acquired because we are not using view control. All images will show up in the apical four chamber required box. Press clips store again to stop or pause acquisition to acquire additional images at peak, such as the tricuspid valve select pause protocol. Obtain the view of the tricuspid valve, select color and position color box over the tricuspid valve press. CW Anneline CW cursor across the tricuspid valve press. Enter hit freeze to stop acquiring waveforms. Optimize The CW Doppler waveforms. Bring the pointer onto the screen over the waveforms. And right click for access to easy measurements, select TR VMAX, notice the measurement point automatically goes to the TR VMAX, adjust if necessary. Now to select the post Images, press review on the control panel. All images were obtained without view control, so we must rename the desired post images. Press select key on the preferred clip, right click on the selected image to label it by using the scroll wheel to choose appropriate name. Select and right Click to rename remaining images. To View images, select the first soft key to compare. Select sort and select by view. This displays the pre and post clips by view. Scroll through the pages with the scroll wheel. This concludes a stress echo without view control performed on the SC 2000.
