Scanning a Microalbumin/Creatinine Calibration Card Video

This video provides instructions on how to scan the calibration card for Microalbumin/Creatinine on your DCA Vantage® Analyzer, including an explanation of when it is necessary to scan the calibration cards.

In this simulation, you'll learn how to scan the calibration card on the DCA Vantage Analyzer. Calibration is performed every time the calibration card is scanned. The calibration card for a lot of reagent cartridges must be scanned before it can be used on the analyzer. Locate the dot on the system next to the barcode track. Locate the barcode on the calibration card. Hold the cards so that the barcode faces to the right. Insert the calibration card into the top of the barcode track. Hold the calibration card gently against the right side of the track. Slide the card smoothly down the track. A beep sounds to signal a successful scan if a beep does not sound repeat the scanning procedure. Turn the cards so that the barcode on the opposite side now faces to the right as before, position the card against the right side of the track and slide the card downward. Listen for the beep to signal a successful scan. To return to the home screen, select OK.
