Holding the buckle in place inside the soft cover pull the free end of the strap to take up slack. Reposition the strap and retighten as necessary. 10. When the strap feels snug perform a final tightening step by pulling on the loop end while also pulling on the free end. The strap should feel taught on both sides of the column. 11. There will be excess strap on the free end. Do not shorten this. It will be needed in the event that the bed does not go to the locked position (arrows not aligned).
