ACUSON Sequoia™ ultrasound system Body Marker Configuration

Welcome in this video we will review body marker customization options in the configuration menu. At the end of this video you will be able to customize body markers for an exam package. We begin by accessing the configuration menus by tapping the icon located in the upper left of the touch screen. There are two methods to navigate through the menus. The first allows you to use the trackball and pointer to choose the annotations page and open the body marker selection. The second method uses the forward backward Rotary key on the control panel to move up and down the configuration menus. The Acuson Sequoia system allows you to customize the body markers for each exam package. You can also choose to delete the body markers on unfreeze. In our example, we use the cardiac touchscreen exam package and the body marker library to add a marker to the touch screen. Select the body marker once the blue border appears, simply drag the icon to the desired location on the Touch Screen preview page. The body markers display on the touch screen in the location placed on the configuration page. Follow the same procedure to remove the icon from the touch screen. If you wish to add icons from a different library, choose the library from the body marker library pull down menu. In this example we will add fetal echo markers to the cardiac touchscreen exam package. When the spots on the review page fill, you can add a new page by clicking the icon. To restore the factory settings, select restore defaults located on the bottom right of most pages. The action requires confirmation before defaults are restored. Restoring default factory settings.
