Single Voxel Spectroscopy (SVS) Scanning Workflow (Numaris X) syngo MR Systems with Numaris X 1. Images acquired in all 3 planes-used to position voxel(VOI) A. Acquired orthogonal, oblique or double oblique B. Localizer images (full brain) all planes can be used. Routine sequences (ie: T1,T2, etc.) are best to use for positioning the voxel C. Full brain coverage in all 3 planes 2. Sequence: For single voxel spectroscopy choose any svs sequence. Positioning of the Voxel A. With spectroscopy the main goal is make sure the the Voxel is not in Bone, Air or Fluid. This may be hard depending on the location of the lesion. B. This is a step by step to use as a guide through the planning process. Spectroscopy Parameters Spectroscopy steps can only be planned on non-distortion corrected images. Please do the following steps for examination planning: drag all series needed for planning into GSP preselect the region of spectroscopy examination by placing a ROI on one series press "Convert images" to generate non-distortion corrected images for planning the converted images will be automatically loaded into the GSP plan your spectroscopy examination For multiple spectroscopy measurements with the same position and voxel size, please use "Copy Parameter" with "Measurement Parameters" or "Everything" after conversion of the images Convert images 4. Drag all 3 planes into the GPS.
