On dual monitor systems, the Scheduler is on the left hand side and the Local Data is on the right hand side.   The work list bar shows up to five work lists and enables you to create worklists. Selecting the New Work List icon located to the far right of the local data tab allows you to create and save a work list utilizing the current filter settings.3Search Area Enables you to set the current search criteria to search for data or to set up work lists. Divided into three sections: Quick Search Field More Filters Add Condition  The search area of local data enables you to set the current search criteria to search for data or to set up worklists. The Search area is divided into three sections including the quick search field, more filters area, and add condition area. The Quick search field searches for a combination of data including patient name, date of birth, ID, study description, date, accession number, or modality. More filters provides additional search conditions and add condition adds or removes search condition fields from the more filters area when more filters is selected.4Results List Shows the data that matches the current search criteria. Can be viewed by: Studies Patients  The results list shows the data that matches the current search criteria. The studies list shows studies one by one and the patients list shows the studies grouped by patient level.5Instances List Shows the images and results of the selected series. Can be viewed as: List Preview Thumbnail The Instances List shows the images and results of the selected series. The list view will list the instances of the selected series. The preview view shows a preview of the selected series which can be scrolled through and the thumbnails view shows a thumbnail for each series of the selected study. 6Series List Shows the series of the selected study. Can be viewed as: List Thumbnail The Series List shows the series of the selected study. The series list view lists the series of the selected study and the thumbnail view shows a thumbnail for each series of the selected study. 7Toolbar Provides access to the following tools: CT View&GO Open Open with Print DICOM Q/R Import Export Correct Delete Manage Raw Data Recon  The toolbar can be found above the series list and provides access to a multitude of tools that allows you to manage data. Once the patient is loaded, the scan protocol for the current examination must be selected. A scan protocol contains: Scan parameters Reconstruction parameters Default Siemens protocols are available for each standard scan workflow. The Protocol Selection tab provides an overview of the most important patient details which influence the selection of the most suitable protocol for the current examination. Error-informs about a failure, a critical situation or a condition. Error messages contain hints to help you solve the problem. Warning-informs about possible negative consequences of an action and offers different options on how to proceed. Information-gives feedback and informs about the last actions performed. Confirmation-lets the user confirm actions before they are carried out, for example, when data is requested to be deleted. Success-informs about successfully completed actions or a suitable target capacity. Scan Conflict Handling Learn more about Scan Conflict Management TitleTextScan Range Cannot be LoadedTab TitleTextSystem Capacity Not enough disk space, memory, or system capacity A dialog box informs you that not enough disk place, memory, or system capacity is available. In the dialog box, click OK and the dialog box will close. To free up disk space you can, for example, delete images or raw data. If enough disk space, memory, or system capacity is available, the GO button is re-enabled. The status bar icons to the right represent the free raw data disk space on your CT system. On the status bar, the mouse pointer can be moved over the icon to view the percentage of free raw data disk space on your CT system.   If the filling level of the disk space on your CT system does not exceed the low watermark, the used disk space is displayed in green. If the filling level of the disk space on your CT system exceeds the low watermark, but does not exceed the high watermark, the used disk space is displayed in yellow. If the filling level of the disk space on your CT system exceeds the high watermark, the used disk space is displayed in red. Topogram too short Topogram Too Short The Preconditions task in the taskflow control displays a message that the topogram is too short. This means that the topogram length is too short for the planned scan range. Possible reasons could be as follows: The patient size exceeds the planned scan range. The scan or recon parameters have been modified. Before the topogram is acquired, the topogram length or the scan or recon parameters have been modified. If the scan range is completely positioned outside the topogram, red error icons are displayed and CARE Profile is red. In this case, the scan range cannot be loaded. If the scan range exceeds the topogram length, yellow warning icons are displayed and CARE Profile is partially yellow. Patient Table Position Invalid position of the patient table In the execution control area, a message informs you that the position of the patient table is invalid and the GO button disabled. Move the patient table to an appropriate position: Move the patient table via the control box or remote system control from the control or examination room. The GO button is enabled again once the appropriate table position is reached. To continue the exam, press the GO button. Recon Ranges Recon Ranges Contain Gaps A dialog box and the Preconditions task in the taskflow control display a message that recon ranges contain gaps and the GO button is disabled In the dialog box, click Confirm. The dialog box closes and the GO button is re-enabled. Adapt the ranges graphically. Continue with loading the range for scanning by pressing the GO button. Tube Load Conflict Tube Load Conflict A tube load conflict occurs if the X-ray tube temperature is expected to exceed the system limits. The cooling time exceeds 10 minutes. The Adjust button is displayed. In the execution control, click Adjust. The required parameter settings are automatically adapted to the appropriate values. The GO button is displayed again. Continue with loading the range for scanning, by pressing the GO button. 1 2  FAST AdjustTab TitleTextSolving X-ray tube conflicts with FAST Adjust Solving X-ray tube conflicts with FAST Adjust The following X-ray tube conflicts could occur: Image Quality Conflict Tube load conflict If the system limits are exceeded because the parameters are unsuitable for the size of the patient, the Fully Automated Scanner Technology FAST Adjust helps you to quickly adapt the required parameter settings to the appropriate values. The Adjust button is available in the execution control in case of an image quality or tube load conflict and offers the possibility to solve such conflicts by changing current-related parameters. The FAST Adjust option uses default limits for the following parameters: FAST Adjust Lower Limit Pitch Factor FAST Adjust Upper Limit Scan Time (s) FAST Adjust Lower Limit max. mAs [%] Within the configured limits, clicking the Adjust button automatically adapts the required parameter settings to the appropriate values. These values are in alignment with the clinical use of the scan protocol e.g., non-contrast study or contrast study. The configured limits are displayed in the Preconditions task in the taskflow control. The effects on the parameters by the FAST Adjust algorithm depend on the CARE Dose4D setting in the scan protocol. Please note that the learning material is for training purposes only!
