Checking the Reagent Status Video

This video provides instructions on how to check the status of a reagent TestPak Lot on your Stratus® CS Analyzer, including how determine if you need to run Quality Control or a Calibration on a specific TestPak lot.

To check the status of a test pack lot, begin from any mode screen. In this simulation we are starting from the patient mode screen. Press F2 reagent status to view the status of the first available reagent. Review the information displayed on the reagent status screen to determine if you need to run QC or a calibration for the test pack lot displayed. In this example, the reagent test pack lot is not expired, therefore, it does not require calibration or QC. Press F4 next method to view information regarding the status of the next available reagent. Continue pressing F4 to view the information regarding the rest of the reagents, or to get to the reagent you wish to view. For example, if check calibration status appears on the system check report, you would look for calibrations or QC that have expired or are about to expire. Information indicates QC or calibration is required. If QC or calibration needs to be run for a test pack, follow the instructions in the operators guide.
