Overlay techniques can be used for comparison, guidance and treatment. Overlay may be started automatically as part of a workflow, or you can start Overlay manually. 3D volume information can be from the current examination, or from another examination of the same patient e.g. a previously acquired XA, CT, MR or PET 3D volume. When using a 3D volume from another examination, the 3D volume must be aligned to the current examination by performing a 2D/3D or 3D/3D registration using syngo 3D Registration.
