Advanced Search enables you to create your own contextual search query. For example, you can create a search based on a range of dates, based on an exact patient name or site ID, or based on several letters contained in a patient’s name. You can save the custom queries for future use. Enter a name for the search and select Save. Custom queries are saved and remembered per user. You access the saved queries from the drop-down list in the canned search section. If required, you can also modify or delete a saved query. Select the saved Query from the list. Select Delete. The Query is now deleted. Study List Columns can be visible or hidden Modify the order that the Study List columns are displayed Column Chooser Column Chooser Audio Filename: sd_va40_workplace_column-chooser.mp3 Audio in Video: You can customize your study list using the Column Chooser functionality. The changes are applied to your user setting and will be displayed the same in the Workplace, Remote Workplace and WebViewer. Select the icon in the bottom left corner of the Study List. The left side displays currently displayed columns. The right side contains columns that are not currently displayed. Click on the minus symbol to hide the column. Click on the plus symbol to make the column visible on the study list. You may also hide all columns or make all columns visible. To modify the position of a column, simply select the column name and drag it up or down to the desired position. Select OK to exit and save your preferences. The columns are now displayed with your new preferences. Many previous menu options have been moved, removed or are no longer available New options added Study List File Menus Study List File Menus Audio Filename: sd_va40_workplace_sl-file-menus.mp3 Audio in Video: The Study List File Menus have been updated in VA40. Many of the options have been moved to a different location within the application, have been removed from the menu, or are no longer available within syngo Dynamics. For example, the options in the Patient and Study menus have been simplified. The third-party App launcher is still located in the Utilities Menu. Select the question mark icon to access the Help menu. Here you will find access to the User manual, Release notes and your current software version. There are some new options, such as Settings that allows you to manage account settings. New (n:1) Layout With the new n:1 layout, your syngo Dynamics workplace can display as many images possible at a time. The number of images possible depends on your screen resolution. The n:1 layout is available for all non-stress echo images. To select the n:1 layout, click the layout icon in your toolbar. New (n:1) Layout Thumbnails In VA40 the availability of thumbnails has changed. Max and Full display: thumbnails are available. Split display: thumbnails are not available. Click on the icon in the top right in Image Review to activate the thumbnails pane. Thumbnails Right-Click Context Menu & Study Utilities File menus have been removed from within image review. Image related tasks have been moved to the Right-Click Context Menu. Study related tasks (Split and Merge) have been moved to the Study Utilities Icon. Calculations and Measurements available from Calc Palette icon Color-coded values for easier differentiation Clicking a measurement takes user to the specific frame containing that measurement Calc Palette Calc Palette Audio Filename: sd_va40_workplace_calc-palette.mp3 Audio in Video: If you have the Cardiac Echo and/or Vascular Quantification Package, you can view and add Calculations and measurements using the Calc Palette. The Calc Palette displays the measurements and calculations defined on the Measurements Tab in SysAdmin for the study type. A list of all measurements configured in the Measurements and Calculation library in Report Designer is available under the All measurement set. This list is not available for edit in SysAdmin. The Calc Palette is supported for Ultrasound studies for the following calculation types: Cardiac, Vascular, and General. To open the Calc Palette click the icon on either the Toolbar or from the Corner Menu. Alternatively, you can open the Calc Palette by pressing the Function and F4 keys on your keyboard. The Calc Palette remembers the last state (open or closed). This preference is maintained for your subsequent sessions. Navigate to the measurement you want or use the Search Field to search for the measurement. When searching if the drop-down list is on a measurement set, only those values which were defined in SysAdmin for the measurement set will be available in the search. To display All measurement sets click on the drop-down list. Measurement sets can be customized to view measurements and calculation results (such as ejection fractions) without having to open the worksheet. The value seen next to the label in the Calc Palette is the derived value and appears in a yellow color. The derivation method is displayed in a tool tip when hovering over this value. If multiple instances of a measurement were taken you can view those individual instances by selecting the label of a measurement in the Calc Palette to reveal the instance dialog at the top of the Calc Palette. Values are color coded to help differentiate between derived values which populate the report, transferred DICOM Structured Reporting measurements, and measurements entered directly into syngo Dynamics. You can draw Measurements on images in Image Review. The Measurement appears in the Calc Palette. If a measurement was created from the Calc Palette or if the Measurement was assigned from the Data Display Box (DDB), upon using a generic measurement you can modify, exclude and delete the measurement. For measurements taken in syngo Dynamics you can locate the image and frame where the measurement was performed. To do this click on the measurement label in the Calc Palette to display the instance dialog at the top of the calc palette and click on a single instance (green value). If required, you can modify the drawn measurement on the image to change the output. When you hover over a measurement label in the Calc Palette, a Tooltip is displayed that shows the Database name. If the measurement has more than one instance of a measurement it shows the derived value of that measurement. You close the Calc Palette by clicking on the (X) button in the corner, or by pressing the F4 key on your keyboard. Image Navigation (Mouse Functions) Image Navigation (Mouse Functions) Audio Filename: sd_va40_workplace_image-navigation.mp3 Audio in Video: In VA40 there are some modifications and enhancements to image navigation.
