syngo.via - Cinematic Rendering Step by Step

syngo.via® Cinematic Rendering Cinematic Rendering enables photorealistic 3D views of CT and MR datasets through highly sophisti- cated photon simulations and advanced graphics capabilities. Cinematic Rendering can benefit clini- cal imaging for surgery planning and can also help physicians relay complex anatomical information to their patients. Cinematic Rendering is currently available on syngo.via in MM Reading, CT Vascu- lar, CT Coronary, and CT Cardiac Planning. 1. From the lower left segment menu of any segment, select “Cinematic VRT” Angio View Cinematic VRT HD VRT MIP MPR HAL HLP RPH RPH Classic VRT Cinematic Rendering Compared to a classic VRT, Cinematic Rendering utilizes a monte-carlo based photon simulation that allows for the visualization of more dynamic ranges and shading, for a significantly-improved realis- tic look. When windowing a Cinematic VRT, the image will revert to a classic VRT until the mouse is released. The progressive rendering process will then continuously improve the quality of the displayed image. Cinematic Rendering supports table removal, bone removal, and the punch mode as in classic VRT. Snapshots can be created and images can be printed or exported directly to PACS. * Cinematic VRT is for communication, education and publication purposes and not intended for diagnostic reading.
