syngo.via® CT Pulmo3D syngo.via CT Pulmo 3D is an image analysis software for CT volume data sets. It analyzes the lung, either com-pletely or in parts, identifying areas with lower or higher Hounsfield values in comparison to a predefined threshold. These areas are evaluated using statistical methods such as histograms and percentiles. With syngo.CT Pulmo 3D, you can assess airways and lung parenchyma as part of a comprehensive evaluation of possible lung disease. 1. From the Patient Worklist, load an appropriate data set into the CT Pulmo 3D workflow: • If the examination has been correctly mapped, double click to load • If manual mapping is required, right-click the examination and select Open With > CT Pulmo 3D. 2. Default layouts provide tools specific to the evalua- tion of the parenchyma or to the airways. Select the desired layout from the Layout Gallery. Segmentation of the lung lobes or airways is per- formed and preliminary quantitative information is calculated and displayed in tables and graphs. CT Pulmo 3D 3. For lung lobe evaluation, the default Left/Right segmentation can be further defined using Thirds, Core/Peel, or Lobes seg- K mentation.
