syngo.via® CT Vascular General Evaluation syngo.via CT Vascular Analysis is a full-featured software package designed to aid in the diagnostic evalua- tion of CT angiography (CTA) volume data sets. CT Vascular Analysis provides general evaluation tools, ves- sel definition tools, and vessel evaluation tools that support in the identification and quantification of vascu- lar lesions and other vessel anomalies. 1. From the Patient Worklist, load an appropriate data set into the CT Vascular Analysis Workflow: • If the examination has been correctly mapped, double click to load • If manual mapping is required, right-click the examination and select Open With > CT Vascular 2. The Case Navigator provides many tools useful in performing a general evaluation of vessels. Many functions – like table removal and bone removal - are performed automatically as preprocessing steps. The Manual Plane tool enables instant viewing of anatomy in an arbitrarily defined plane. Click in the image and drag the mouse to draw a green line through the area of interest. An oblique MPR in that plane is created in the best plane segment. Manual Plane AR O 4. Vessel Surf allows for navigation through a vessel in an MPR segment. The all other segments will update in real-time to display the current orthogonal views. With the icon enabled, click inside the vessel of interest and “surf” forward using the right mouse button. Before performing further vessel analysis, confirm the accuracy of the vessel center- lines and anatomic labels: • From the layout gallery, select a Twin layout, where synchronized CPRs show the vessel at a 90° angle. • From the upper left corner menu of the CPR segment, choose Show Centerline. • Rotate around the centerline to check positioning. • To rename an already-defined anatomic label, double-click the label and enter the desired name, OR right-click the label and select a preset from the context menu. 6. The Anatomy Visualizer allows for quick access to all 3D masks that have been created. Individual masks can be shown or hidden using the check boxes, and VRT presets can be adapted as well.
