Enable syngo.via® Bone Removal syngo.via provides different algorithms to help automatically mask out bones in images. Each algorithm is optimized for bone removal in a particular body region. Bone Removal Auto Automatically applies the optimal bone removal algorithm to the loaded series, depending auto on the detected body region. Bone Removal Head Applies a bone removal algorithm that is optimized for images of the head. Bone Removal Body Applies a bone removal algorithm that is optimized for images of the thorax. Bone Removal Leg Applies a bone removal algorithm that is optimized for images of the extremities. Bone & Vessel Isolation Applies a user-specific bone mask. Individual bone masks can be defined for each data set. Dual Energy Bone Removal Body Applies the Dual Energy bone removal algorithm that is optimized for images of the body: Only available if Dual Energy bone removal application classes are configured. Dual Energy Bone Removal Head Applies the Dual Energy bone removal algorithm that is optimized for images of the head: Only available if Dual Energy bone removal application classes are configured. Bone Removal Neuro DSA Applies the bone removal mask that was previously generated by syngo.CT Neuro DSA. 1. In the Case Navigator, click the corresponding bone removal icon to show or hide bone structure in the MIP or VRT images. 2. To switch to another bone removal algorithm, choose the corresponding icon in the Case Navigator. NOTE: Check the bone removal results against the 2D images to avoid cutting away diagnostically relevant information during bone removal.
