syngo.via View&GO: Plugin Workflow XPRF This document guides you through the reprocessing workflow for X-ray 2D projection images as available for the Multitom Rax in syngo.via View&GO. In easy steps, you will learn how to reprocess suitable X-ray 2D projection images into 3D volume image data sets for further evaluation. Reprocessing X-ray Projection Images into a 3D Volume Step 1 In the Patient Browser, select a patient containing a series with an X-ray 2D projection image set and double-click the left mouse button to load the patient data into the Viewer. The 2D projection data set was reprocessed with a parameter setup that was predefined within the OGP (Organ Program) database. In this example the setup “Sharp” was used. Please note: The reproccesed 3D volume series appears in the Viewer for further evaluation, for example in the image mode MPR (Multi Planar Reconstruction). Automatic 3D reprocessing is not started, if you load the entire patient at once which might include multiple data sets. If the result images do not meet your requirements, you can adjust the reprocessing parameters by repeating the reprocessing as described below: Step 5 In the Patient Browser, select a patient containing a series with a 2D projection image series for 3D volume reprocessing and double-click the left mouse button to load the patient data into the Viewer. In Favorite Tools, the Reprocessing function gets available (its icon changes from greyed out to bright). The window closes, and a new reprocessing starts according to the selected image impression. The 2D projection data set was reprocessed a second time, in this case with a “Medium” parameter setup. Please note: The second reprocessed 3D volume series in the Viewer may now be evaluated, for example in the image mode MPR (Multi Planar Reconstruction).
