Screen Sharing Job Aid syngo Virtual Cockpit Introduction Modality Client Physician Client The screen sharing functionality allows you as the Steering Technologist to share your screen with a Physician Client. You can perform the sharing when you are connected to a Modality via Expert-i. Expert-i Screen share Steering Client Difference between Expert-i and screen sharing • Expert-i: Modality Technologist and Steering Technologist can establish the connection for remote support. With this connection both, read only and full access mode are possible, depending on the Modality Technologist’s selection. • Screen share: The Steering Technologist can invite a Physician user to a screen sharing session with read only access. Roles Groups Physician Marc Green Conversation The screen share icon will be enabled in the Conversation section as soon as you are connected to a modality. Marc Green To invite the physician user, click on the screen share icon. Share with Marc Green X A system message opens and prompts you to select the modality you would like to share. Modality 1 Click Share. The invited physician user gets an Modality 2 invitation. Please note: You can only share one modality at a time. You can easily see that your screen has been successfully shared by the following indicators: • An orange frame around the shared modality window indicates that it is currently being shared. • On top of the modality screen, you see a message stating that you are currently sharing your screen. In addition, a bubble with the initials of the user, you are sharing your screen with, is displayed. You can end the screen sharing session at any time by clicking the Stop button. How to accept a screen sharing invitation as a Physician When a Steering Technologist wants to share a modality screen, you receive an invitation that behaves similar to the request attention message: The respective conversation section with the Steering Technologist starts to blink and a sound can be heard.
