syngo.via VB30 Delta - Computed Tomography Online Training

This online training is intended to train you on new features and functionalities of the syngo.via VB30 software for Computed Tomography.

Welcome to the syngo.via VB30 delta online training. In this training you will learn about new features and feature improvements of the syngo.via VB30 software version that covers Computed Tomography. Upon successful completion of this online training, you will know about new features in: Rapid Results Technology, where you can now edit automatically generated results and create vascular and cardiac CPRs and spine ranges automatically MM Oncology, where you now have feature improvements to create findings optionally and for Lung Lesion Segmentation CT Vascular's Bone Removal and Vessel Tracing CT Cardiac's CT Coronary Congratulations. You have completed the syngo.via Delta Online Training - Computed Tomography. Listed below are the key points that have been presented. Take time to review the material before you proceed to the final quiz. Select the link below to view and/or print your review material before proceeding to the final quiz. Download and print a copy of the Course Review. Rapid Results Technology   One of the major new features for Rapid Results Technology is the option to edit automatically generated results as a quality control measure. The Edit functionality is available for anatomical ranges, bone-removed and table-removed VRT ranges, CPR ranges and spine ranges. Another major improvement in Rapid Results Technology is the capability to create spine ranges as well as vascular and cardiac CPRs automatically: Automatic generation of Radial and Parallel CPR Range series of the LAD, RCA and LCx Automatic generation of Radial and Parallel CPR Range series of the Aorta and the left and the right Runoffs MM Oncology Lung lesion sementation tool: Segmentation of solid and sub-solid nodules More options for data loading Possibility to optionally create findings CT Vascular Bone Removal: Improved detection results for thorax and abdomen and runoff examinations (less vessels cut, less bone remains) Vessel Tracing: Improved vessel tracing for the left and the right runoffs and internal carotids (longer centerlines, better detection) CT Cardiac       CT Coronary Coronary tree tracing: Improved detection results for smaller side branches and improved centering in vessels   syngo.via VB30 now enables you to edit automatically generated results as a quality control measure. The Edit functionality is available for anatomical ranges, bone-removed and table-removed VRT ranges, CPR ranges and spine ranges.   An example to edit previously generated Rapid Results could be the case of Radial Ranges and using MM Reading. For this, please select the Edit Result button via the Series Navigator or in a Results Section in the Context Menu. Here it's for example possible to apply changes to the angle between images, the number of images selected or the Field of View. In addition, long, short or frontal axis can be selected. After all of the changes have been selected, please click Start, and after the Ranges have been performed please click the Accept button with the new changes in the Range Tool. After each edit, a new results series will be generated.   To be more efficient when you only want to work with individual measurements, and without detailed evaluation of findings or results summaries, you can now configure the findings behavior appropriately. You can predefine the findings behavior using the Display and Behavior tab on the Configuration Panel.   For Lung Lesion Segmentation, two options are now available: solid lesion evaluation and subsolid lesion evaluation. This volumetric analysis is important in the context of U.S. Lung Cancer Screening Guidelines. In the default option, the solid only mode is selected. The algorithm result is restricted to show only the solid compartment. In the subsolid mode, the complete lesion is evaluated, including the solid and subsolid part. The subsolid lesion icon includes the solid and subsolid component. It is also possible to perform manual correction of segmentations via the mini-tool bar.   syngo.via VB30 now has improved detection results for thorax, abdomen and runoff examinations (less vessels cut, less bone remains). syngo.via VB30 now has improved vessel tracing for the left and the right runoffs and internal carotids (longer centerlines, better detection). Another major improvement in Rapid Results Technology is the capability to create spine ranges as well as vascular and cardiac CPRs automatically: Automatic generation of Radial and Parallel CPR Range series of the LAD, RCA and LCx Automatic generation of Radial and Parallel CPR Range series of the Aorta and the left and right Runoffs In syngo.via VB30, there are new features within Rapid Results Technology: Edit Automatically Generated Results Create Vascular and Cardiac CPRs and Spine Ranges Automatically Automatic Job Prioritization of Neuro Perfusion Rapid Results Learn more about them from the following pages. In syngo.via VB30, there are some feature improvements in CT Vascular: Bone Removal Vessel Tracing Learn more about them from the following pages. In syngo.via VB30, there are some feature improvements for MM Oncology: Optionally Create Findings Lung Lesion Segmentation Select Initial Layout Based on Number of Time Points Learn more about them from the following pages. Neuro Perfusion Rapid Results now automatically get the highest priority in computation as this is commonly used in emergency situations such as stroke. In the Series Navigator, loading of multiple reconstruction data sets is also possible. MM Oncology automatically chooses a fitting layout according to series, acquisitions and time points used, but it is possible to expand the choices to more user-specific requirements. You can configure the default layout that is loaded for specific data sets by selecting an Assignment Object (study description, protocol name, body part examined), followed by an Assignment Condition. You can also add new layout rules based on the amount of examination time points for this patient. These selections filter the data sets that are displayed in an initial layout.  From the Configuration dialog box, select the Initial Layouts tab. From the initial layout list, select My Initial Layout Rules. Click the Add New Rule icon to add a new layout rule. The Assign Initial Layout dialog box opens. Move the For Patient with Timepoint(s) slider to select the number of prior time points that you want to load for the patient. Click Accept. The new layout assignment rule is listed on the Initial Layouts tab.
