A predictive value is displayed for the probed region TransparaTM Decision Support Score is calculated offering a case based value to reflect a probability of malignancy. Display the findings from TransparaTM Decision Support Structured Reports (SR) as graphical marks and information overlay in the corresponding images.   Please note: Results of TransparaTM Decision Support should not be used as the sole basis of diagnosis. It is necessary to perform a complete systematic review and interpretation of the entire dataset.   The Decision Support tool is only displayed, when the CAD license and the Decision Support SR are available.   To enable the Decision Support functionality you can: Click the icon in the Control Area or Press  Ctrl + Shift + 0 (zero)   The mouse cursor will change to a cross-hair, and an indicator notifies the user that the corresponding images are processed by TransparaTM Decision Support algorithms. TransparaTM Lesion Score When a region of interest has a lesion score displayed on one projection it may not necessarily be the same in both projections. This means that the system discovered a suspicious area in both views but finds that its features are more suspicious for example in the MLO view opposed to the CC view.   Corresponding Findings Decision Support findings can also correspond with findings in different views of the same laterality.   After enabling the Decision Support functionality, corresponding findings are displayed as follows:   in 2D: Circle and corresponding region score are also displayed on the CC image. in Tomo volumes: The Tomo volume jumps directly to the correlated slice and displays the finding information in Tomo CC with its score   TransparaTM Global Case Score The TransparaTM Global Case score combines the analysis of soft tissue lesions and calcifications from all available views of an exam to an overall case score.   This score ranges from 1 to 10, where 10 stands for the cases with the highest probability for malignancy. It is also visible as a column in the Patient Browser. This information is only available for cases which have a SR Finding from the ScreenPoint Medical TransparaTM software.   The display of the TransparaTM Global Case Score is very useful for prioritizing the available cases.   Smart sort your MG cases analyzed by TransparaTM by clicking on the TransparaTM Global Case Score heading in the Patient Browser.   Please note that the learning material is for training purposes only! The Structured Report (SR) generated by these two firms is displayed as graphical CAD marks and as CAD information overlay (textual information) on the corresponding images.         To display the Tomo CAD mark: Turn the CAD icon on by clicking the icon in the MG Breast case navigator or selecting the shortcut Ctrl + O.                                                                     The CAD icon will be active if there is a CAD mark available for the loaded images in the segments.  A dotted line on the pictogram will indicate where the Tomo CAD mark is available on the corresponding slice. You can then scroll to the slice where the CAD mark is available/detected/displayed on the pictogram OR alternatively select a segment and use the Alt + T to jump to the next detected CAD mark/s in this segment.   Select then Ctrl + T  to display additional CAD information.   Additional CAD findings depend on the information contained in the Structured Reports (SR). This SR report contains the graphical information of the CAD marks and the information overlay (textual information) on the corresponding images. The following information about each CAD SR is displayed, if encoded in the CAD object: Type and number of finding/s Area of finding Number of calcifications Certainty of finding Breast Composition Percentage of Glandular Tissue   You can perform the following task using the CAD icon in the control area. You can Switch CAD marks on or off and Display quantitative lesion information. The CAD icon is only enabled if there is at least one CAD Structured Report available for at least one of the currently displayed studies.   The icon notifies you if the CAD marks are available within the corresponding image, but are currently turned off.   The control area contains a CAD button.   Click the CAD icon in the control area to toggle marks or press Ctrl + O to switch CAD marks on/off. The corresponding CAD information overlay will be shown on the image.   You can also toggle presenting more or less CAD information, for example to include quantitative lesion description. Press Ctrl + T to select More CAD Information. The corresponding quantitative CAD information overlay will be shown. However it is dependent on the CAD manufacturer as to what additional CAD Information is included. syngo.via MG Breast can display a selection of the following items, for example: Type and number of finding Area of finding Number of calcifications Certainty of finding Breast Composition Percentage of Glandular Tissue   The Decision Support tool is available directly in the control area. This tool is only displayed when the CAD license and the Decision Support SR  is available.   To enable the Decision Support functionality you can:                                  Click on the icon in the control area or Use the Ctrl + Shift + 0 to enable the tool You will notice that the mouse cursor changes to a cross-hair, and therefore an indicator notifies the user that the corresponding images are processed by TransparaTM Decision Support algorithms. If no algorithm results are available for some of the displayed images, the standard mouse cursor is displayed on the corresponding images. Additionally you will see the Decision Support icon displayed underneath the patient name.     Select a segment containing an image which has been processed with TransparaTM Decision Support – indicated by the cross hair and displays the Decision Support indicator. Click on a suspicious region in a 2D Mammography image or within a Tomosynthesis slice. If any of the TransparaTM Decision Support findings correlate with the probed or “suspicious” regions, the result will be displayed in the following colors provided by the TransparaTM Decision Support algorithm: green, yellow, orange or red.   The finding will be displayed on the image by: A cross-hair as click marker A circle around the cross hair, marking the hit region or “probed/suspicious” and A score value of the hit region. The hit region score ranges from 20 to 95, where 95 labels regions with the highest probability for cancer. If no finding pops up, it does not mean that the software did not analyze the probed area it means that the algorithm found nothing noteworthy. A green cross is then displayed indicating that the Score was < 20.   You can also of course use the zoom and pan functionality during the use of the Decision Support tool   When you want to zoom and pan an image, please hold the Alt key pressed during your action - this will ensure that the Decision Support tool is kept active afterwards.   Therefore, please note that activating any new tool will deactivate the Decision Support tool automatically, for example the Magnification Tool, Distance Line.     Navigate to the control area where the Decision Support icon is displayed and select it. When you click on a region of interest in an image, for example Right MLO in 2D or in a Tomo volume and if a corresponding finding is available on a currently displayed image, the circle and region score are displayed as follows: → in 2D: Circle and corresponding region score are also displayed on the CC image. → in Tomo volumes: the Tomo volume jumps directly to the correlated slice and displays the finding information in Tomo CC with its score.     With syngo Breast Care you can display the findings in CAD Structured Reports (SR) as graphical CAD marks and as CAD information overlay (textual information) on the corresponding images. The following information about each CAD SR is displayed, if encoded in the CAD object. For example: Manufacturer Algorithm (Name and Version) Number of markers The display of CAD marks is an option. If this option is not available all CAD features are disabled. The following CAD systems are validated for the use of 2D Images with syngo Breast Care: iCAD SecondLook® Digital iCAD PowerLook® with SecondLook Premier iCAD PowerLook® Tomo Detection Version 2.0 VuComp M-Vu R2 CAD ScreenPoint Medical TransparaTM (2D and DBT)   If multiple CAD findings are available for a study, the newest CAD finding is initially selected. It is possible to toggle through all available CAD findings. In the overlay the total number of CAD Reports is displayed, for example 1 of 2. Press Ctrl + R to display the next available CAD SR for each study.  Toggling is performed in order from newest to the oldest CAD finding.     The display of CAD marks can be configured for each ReportFlow step. Select a ReportFlow. Select the layout or layouts where you would like the CAD finding to be automatically displayed. Select the CAD checkbox in the Tools area. Click Save to save the configuration of the ReportFlow. Therefore when you step through your ReportFlow the CAD marks will be displayed on the corresponding ReportFlow step/layout.       The Decision Support tool is based on the structured report results provided by ScreenPoint Medical's TransparaTM system. For 2D and 3D examinations you can enable the Decision Support tool at any time to probe suspicious image regions. TransparaTM Decision Support delivers interactive decision support including:  The detection of:                • soft-tissue lesions                • calcifications and the                • interpretation of suspicious regions. Automatic linking of CC and MLO views is provided, whenever a finding is detected in both views. A predictive value is displayed for the probed region TransparaTM Decision Support Score is calculated offering a case based value to reflect a probability of malignancy. Display the findings from TransparaTM Decision Support Structured Reports (SR) as graphical marks and information overlay in the corresponding images. Please note: Results of the TransparaTM Decision Support should not be used as the sole basis of diagnosis. It is necessary to perform a complete systematic review and interpretation of the entire dataset.     Welcome to the syngo.via MG Breast VB40 delta online training. In this training you will learn about MG Breast CAD Findings MG Breast Tomosynthesis CAD Findings & Marks Interactive Decision Support   that are available with the syngo.via VB40 software version.  When a region of interest has a lesion score displayed on one projection it may not necessarily be the same in both projections.   This means that the system discovered a suspicious area in both views but finds that its features are more suspicious in for example in the MLO view opposed to the CC view.      The TransparaTM Global Case Score combines the analysis of soft tissue lesions and calcifications from all available views of an exam to an overall case score.   It ranges from 1 to 10, where 10 contains the cases with the highest probability for malignancy. The TransparaTM Global Case Score is displayed as a text line in the image text and helps you to identify the overall likelihood that a cancer is present in the examination. .     The TransparaTM Global Case Score is also visible as a column in the Patient Browser. This information is only available for cases which have a SR Finding from the ScreenPoint TransparaTM software.   The display of the Global Score is very useful for prioritizing the available cases.   By clicking on the column TransparaTM Score in the Patient Browser the user can then order the cases in the worklist from 10 to 1 or alternatively the other way round 1 to 10. Thus giving you the option to smart sort your cases according to individual reading preferences.     Decision Support findings can also correspond with findings in different views of the same laterality. If one finding contains such a correlation to another finding, the system will automatically navigate and display the corresponding slice or image displaying the corresponding finding.
