Each chart can display up to 1200 results, which are indicated by a single data point on the QC chart. Each chart is identified by the Assay parameter name, Control name, Control lot number, and Control status. Each assay’s QC target value and standard deviation limits are used to evaluate each QC result. The QC Chart screen displays the calculated Mean target value for each assay as well as upper and lower limits 2 standard deviations from the Mean.5Viewing QC Chart Data Viewing options include: Cumulative data for all results Data for single result   Select the number to review the corresponding text. CalloutsChart data areaCursorCursor data areaOn each QC chart, you can view cumulative chart data for all QC results, or you can view details for a single QC result. Use the left and right arrows to move the cursor one data point to view data for a single result. Cursor data for a selected result appears on the right side of the QC chart. 6Viewing QC Chart Data Data point colors: Green data points indicate Current control lot QC results Blue data points indicate New control lot QC results   Data points displayed on a QC chart are differentiated by color. Green data points indicate QC results from the Current control lot. Blue data points indicate QC results from a New control lot that is being evaluated.7Viewing QC Chart Data QC errors are indicated by: Red X: QC error Yellow chart: QC result > 2 SD   QC results with errors are indicated by color. A red X indicates that a QC error, such as a QC limit or judgment rule violation, has occurred. If the QC chart background color is orange, this indicates that at least one QC result has exceeded 2 standard deviations from the Mean target value. 8Viewing QC Chart Data QC errors are indicated by: Red X: QC error Red chart: QC result >3 SD    If the QC chart background color is red, it indicates that at least one QC result has exceeded 3 standard deviations from the Mean target value.9Navigating the QC Chart Screen To navigate the QC Chart screen: Select the single up/down arrows to scroll up or down per page Select the double up/down arrows to scroll up or down per chart Touch inside the chart or use the up/down scroll buttons to select a chart (the selected chart will be outlined in blue) Move the cursor with the left/right arrows or touch the point with the mouse to select a result in the selected chart   Select the number to review the corresponding text. CalloutsScroll per pageScroll per chartThe QC Chart screen displays up to four QC charts per page.
