Failure to achieve isocenter potentially impacts accurate CARE kV selection.  Suggested parameters are displayed after acquiring the topogram and pre-monitoring image (when bolus tracking is utilized in a protocol).  When isocenter is markedly off but corrected with repositioning, repeat the topogram to provide the software with the most up to date attenuation profiles and dose calculations. Use the multi-hertz toggle to cycle through available frequencies.  Toggle up to increase frequency, toggle down to decrease frequency.   Multiple imaging frequencies are available in 2D imaging including fundamental frequencies and native tissue harmonic frequencies.  Native tissue harmonics imaging frequency will be preceded by the letter H. The frequency range will be dependent upon the active transducer.   Delta – Adjust the delta to increase or decrease the level of differential echo levels. This increases or decreases the contrast within the image. Delta takes two structures of like echogenecity and enhances the difference between them.
