From menu select QC chart. the D Digroup tab is displayed. Highlight the chart for the assay QC material. The current lot is displayed. Select more until add lot is displayed. If necessary, select add lot. Select the dropdown arrow to the right of lot number. Select the lot number listed. Note this displays the QC lots listed in the reagent lot Master. Verify the use QC barcode boxes selected. Select next no action is needed on the assay parameter selection screen. Select next the QC chart Settings screen is used to enter QC ranges to input TV ranges for the D dimer QC. First select the lot master button. Select yes. Select next on the QC barcode setting screen. Select an unused QC file box for ease of use. Selected QC file box next to the current lot QC file. For example, if QC 05 is current. Select QC 15 select next. Select OK for CS 5100 systems select complete. To add a lot to another QC level, select the appropriate QC chart and repeat previous steps. Viewing charts current versus knew select more until switch display is listed. If needed, select switch display. Select knew all new lots are displayed on the new side of the QC chart. To view your current QC charts, select switch display again and select current. Select the routine tab. All current lots will be seen in this view. Running the new QC. Verify that the correct assay reagent lots are currently on the analyzer. Only the reagent lots to be used with the new QC. Lot of QC should be on board. This is important when a new reagent lot is being started at the same time as a new QC lot. Load the new lot of QC in the see rack. Order assays using the file number identified under QC Chart QC barcode settings. The nuke points will display on the new QC chart. To view the new chart, select switch display. Select knew. Making new QC lots current. For asset quality controls D dimer QC levels one and two. For example, with package insert ranges, it is possible to change nuke to current at anytime. Calibrated assays, such as fibrinogen, which may use an asset quality control side trawl an abnormal fibrinogen control, for example, require an adequate number of points to establish a range in order to change the lot from new to current. Select next, there are three choices to enter ranges on the QC chart settings screen for assayed controls, such as in events D dimer for which it is desired to use. The manufacturers provided range. Select detailed settings and enter an appropriate one. Devalue. Do not use the used current settings button. This will enter the settings from the current lot in use. Select next, select the desired QC file. It will display in blue. Select next on the confirmation of the settings completion screen. Select OK Sysmex CS 5100 users will select complete. The new chart is now empty. The points have been added to the current chart. Select switch display, select current to view your chart. The new lot has been converted to the current lot. Repeat these steps for all levels. This is the location of the file with old quality control chart information.
